Program Information
Carefully read all the information below BEFORE registering your
son or daughter in the Cardinal Dive Club Program. If you have
any questions or need more information regarding any aspect of the

To register as a member of Cardinal Dive Club, please do the
following AFTER reading all the information included below:
Registration with Cardinal Dive Club IS A TWO (2) STEP
process beginning with our online registration system. Once your
registration is complete, you will need to join the Amateur Athletic
Union (AAU).

Fill out the online registration form
All registration with the Cardinal Dive Club will be
completed online. All information entered on online will be
kept in strict confidence on a secure encrypted server. You
may edit your information at any time using the link provided
on the Cardinal Dive Club website (louisvilleareadiving.com) and please do so as information
changes (i.e. phone numbers, email address). Information, payment
confirmation, schedule changes and program updates will be communicated
using email so it is important that this information is kept
up to date.
In order to begin the registration process you must first create
a username and password. This username and password will allow
you access to your registration information at any time.
Each diver needs to be entered separately. This is to protect
the information on the server.
Be sure to have the information listed below as you begin the
registration process:
- Valid Credit/Debit Card - all Cardinal Diving Club fees will
be charged on this card
- Emergency Contact information
- Valid Email address - Very Important!!! All billing and correspondence
will be conducted using email.
- Medical Insurance Carrier and Group or Identification Number
After filling and submitting the online registration form, you
will both receive an email and be forwarded to a payment page
on our website to continue your registration process. Please
note that many of the items included on the form require a response.

Information
- Register with the Amateur Athletic Union
Registering with the AAU is required of all divers and MUST BE
paid prior to any participation in the Louisville Area Diving
Program. Insurance for each diver and our team as a whole is provided
by registering with the AAU. The Insurance Fee is in addition
to The Program Fee and Coaching Fees. This Diving Insurance is
secondary coverage, which means that it takes effect, only if
your primary insurance runs out. The cost for each diver is $14.00
per year.**
When registering with the AAU you will need the following information:
The name of our AAU club is: Louisville Area Divers, Inc.

** To keep your
insurance costs down, we have once again opted NOT to use U.S.
Diving’s Insurance Carrier this year because of the much
higher cost. However, if you plan to dive in any U.S. Diving sanctioned
invitational or qualifier meets, you must register as a FULL ATHLETE
MEMBER with United States Diving. The yearly cost is $75.00 per
diver and is in addition to registration with the AAU. If you
plan only to dive in High School or other local AAU Diving Meets,
your registration with the AAU cover your registration requirements.
FEE SCHEDULE
(All fees subject to change without prior notice)
Program Fees
This is the fee you pay to join the Cardinal Dive Club Program and
is required of each and every diver who participates in the Diving
Program. The Program Fee is $50.00 for the year and is in addition
to all coaching fees and insurance fees and MUST BE paid prior to
any participation in the diving program. This fee helps to defer
administrative costs such as pool rental and club registration, web
site, etc.
Coaching Fees
Coaching fees are set up on a monthly basis (except for the Sunday
Clinic) and in the developmental group, is based on the number of
days per week for which your child registers to dive. A Sunday
Clinic will be offered for registered divers and the coaching fees will be
based on the number of Sunday sessions attended during the month.
The coaching fees are as follows:
- Elite - $220 per month
- Group 1 - $144 per month
- Developmental Group (one day per week) - $48 per month
- Developmental Group (two days per week) - $96 per month
- High School Group - $144 per month
- Sunday Clinic: $12 per Sunday session
By registering for participation in the Cardinal Diving Club, each
member agrees to recurring monthly coaching fee payments regardless
of the number of days your child attends. Switching of groups during
the middle of a month is not allowed. If your child decides not
to dive during a particular month, a PARENT will
need to notify the Cardinal Diving Club coaching staff in writing
(email is acceptable) of this decision AT LEAST five (5) days before
the first day of the month in order to stop this payment. Once a
payment has been processed there will be no refunds.
Insurance

Diving Schedules
(Practice Days & Times)
The Cardinal Diving Club will observe specific holidays and special
occasions. Please check the online calendar for these dates. Emails
will be sent out monthly or in the event of an unforeseen cancellation
so it is important that each Cardinal Diving Club member register
with a valid email address that is checked on regular basis
NOTE: Divers are not obligated to dive for an entire session nor
are they required to start at the beginning of a session.

CARDINAL DIVE CLUB
PROGRAM POLICIES
- All payments and fees will be processed using a Credit or
Debit Card (NOTE: Cardinal Dive Club accepts only Visa and MasterCard).
- All coaching fees except for the Sunday Clinic are based on
monthly payments. If you By registering for participation in the
Cardinal Diving Club, each member agrees to recurring monthly
coaching fee payments regardless of the number of days your child
attends. If your child decides not to dive during a particular
month, a PARENT will need to notify the
Cardinal Diving Club coaching staff of this decision in writing
(email is acceptable) AT LEAST five (5) days before the first
day of the month in order to stop this payment. Once a payment
has been processed there will be no refunds.
- Coaching fees are payable IN FULL, ON TIME, whether or not
your child attends the scheduled practice(s). If your child
becomes sick or injured and misses a number of practices for any
reason, you are still obligated to pay unless you make
arrangements with the Cardinal Dive Club Staff.
- All practices will, during the Fall, Winter and Spring will
take place at the Ralph Wright Natatorium on the campus of the
University of Louisville. For directions, please visit the website
at www.louisvilleareadiving.com. Practices during the Summer will
take place at both UofL and Lakeside Swim Club.

- Parents are welcome to sit and watch practice but PLEASE
NO INTERACTION between parent and child during practice.
PARKING (FEES, CHARGES & FINES)
- Parking at the University of Louisville is available both at
parking meters and the green parking lots, Passes are available to
Cardinal Dive Club members at a reduced price. For information
concerning these green lot passes, contact parking located in the
parking garage next to the pool.
- UofL and the City of Louisville will issue tickets for illegally
parked cars or to cars that do not display a valid parking pass.
Divers are responsible for payment of any parking tickets received
while on campus for any diving practices or diving meets.
WEATHER, ETC. AND OTHER CANCELLATIONS
In the interest of safety for both the divers and the coaches,
Cardinal Dive Club reserves the right to cancel practice due
to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Louisvilleareadiving.com website will have updates throughout the day regarding
the status of practice on a day when severe weather or other unforeseen
situations are occurring. In addition, “batch e-mail”
will be sent to all divers if possible to alert you to any possible
schedule changes.
ONLINE INFORMATION / BILLING INFORMATION
Cardinal Dive Club maintains an extensive website loaded with
information about the Program, special diving events, high school
diving information, links to other diving websites and a diving
calendar. You can access the website at www.louisvilleareadiving.com.
Cardinal Dive Club will also send periodic “batch E-mails”
to divers and parents to serve as reminders or to alert you to available
makeup times, practice cancellations and/or schedule changes.
